Whitby Archives

The mandate of the Whitby Archives is to acquire, preserve, interpret, and make available, through a comprehensive archival collection, unpublished records of historical or cultural significance essential to the understanding of the heritage of Whitby and its people. Important collections include the Whitby Dunlops hockey team, Ontario Hospital, Whitby (Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health), and Ontario Ladies’ College (Trafalgar Castle). Fees:                                                                                                                                            Archival photographic prints: $8/print                                                                                   Digital photographic copies: $5 for up to 5 images/CD or Email, $2 for every image thereafter
